Three Images

Origami:

Small golden venture paper crane made of a couple hundred small pieces of paper sized 12 mm by 50 mm. Folding and assembly of the crane took an approximate 72 hours.

Ba Na Resort Hotel:

Resort located in Vietnam which chose a more older western style for the designs of their buildings. These buildings were located on top of a mountain in which the highest and longest non-stop cable car has to be taken to reach therefore is also usually surrounded in fog and mist giving it surreal appearance.

Dragon Bridge:

Bridge located in Da Nang of Vietnam that is fully illuminated by pulsing rainbow lights along the length of the bridge. On weekends the bridge also has a event at 7pm in which it sprays water and fire from the dragon head.

Second Draft With Stairs And People

Elegant / Balance

Curvature is used to represent elegance in upper layer which traverses down the stairs. A transition from curvature to a more linear shape throughout the middle layer is then shown as it combines into the lower layer. The lower layer then has a more sturdy structure to represent balance also shown through the stairs as no additional support is required. Materials chosen include glass for elegance and dark stone for lower layers for balance.
